Bible Verses - Explained

With so many varying religious sects, beliefs and interpretations of spiritual teachings, it's no wonder humanity as a whole is no closer to spiritual oneness and planetary peace than we were thousands of years ago. Throughout my studies I have come accross many interpretations of various bible passages. In many of these explanations there has been an overwhelming amount of contradictions within the defined meanings themselves. Some make spiritual sense but go against known fundamental scientific law or historical fact. Others can make perfect scientific sense but loose luster when it comes to the spiritual side of things.

Below are the most widely mis-understood Bible verses and what I believe are the simplest and most truthful interpretation of them. They make the most sense both scientifically and spiritually and are not biased too any one religion. Genesis 1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters...

John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Matthew 7
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Mark 11:22
